Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, is looking forward to her own love story.
The daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola had attended the lavish wedding ceremony of Umar Kamani and Nada Kamani. Sharing photos from the ceremony, Cuppy revealed that though she isn’t a wedding person, she couldn’t miss their wedding.
Praying for their union to be blessed, she expressed hope that her love story will come someday.
“Grateful to celebrate with @umarkamani & @nadakamani on their big day! I’m usually not a wedding person, but this is one I wouldn’t miss for the world! May the Lord bless their union. PS: Hoping for my own love story one day”.
In 2022, DJ Cuppy found love in the arms of British boxer Ryan Taylor and the two got engaged. Unfortunately, their relationship was short-lived, as in 2023, they parted ways over undisclosed reasons.
In November, which was supposed to be their anniversary month, Cuppy lamented over how she and Ryan had become strangers.
Finally opening up about their break-up, she noted how she was engaged in 2022 but now is single. Her ex, on his part, revealed why he dumped her, stating that his exes are shit drivers, a statement which didn’t sit well with Cuppy, and she hit back at him.
Months back, DJ Cuppy described 2023 as the worst year of her life. She regretted not turning down her fiance, Ryan Taylor’s proposal. She reemphasised that because she couldn’t say no to him, it made her year worse.
Recently, Cuppy threw heavy shade her exes’ way, as she stated that she doesn’t run into most of her exes because they cannot afford to be in the same space that she is in.
Replying to her, Ryan Taylor made her known that he is also a man of status as he reminded her that she can’t also run into him.
