Recall that in 2022, it was alleged that Genevieve was admitted to the hospital following a mental breakdown.
Faceless blogger Gistlover alleged that the actress was suffering from mental issues and had sought treatment in Houston, Texas. The report was confirmed by a US-based Nurse, Sil Fenesse, who revealed more about her admission.
However, Genevieve debunked the reports with a video of her painting on her Instagram story, which many didn’t believe.
In July 2023, she made her first public statement on Instagram with an adorable selfie. She also returned to Instagram to mark her 44th birthday by sharing a video of her surrounded by friends and family with a cake.
In September, Genevieve made a public appearance at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival in Canada, where she premiered her upcoming movie, I Do Not Come To You By Chance.
Following her surprise appearance, Genevieve had shared photos from the festival and had teased her movie on Instagram.
