Nollywood actress and highest grossing filmmaker Funke Akindele has encouraged her millions of fans to choose peace over war.

Taking to her Instagram page, the box office Queen told her Instagram followers that beyond winning the war, they should be more concerned about bringing the peace.

She reemphasized that they should choose peace at all times.

A day back, Funke had given a word of advice to her gender using herself as an example. She stated that she is a proof that hardwork and determination can take one far, as she encouraged younger women to work hard, believe in themselves and never rely on others for validation.

The filmmaker had in a recent interview lectured Nigerian baddies on the importance of having morals and intelligence. She educated them on showcasing their talents and putting it forth to the world rather than trying to emulate a fake lifestyle on social media.

A week back, during singer Dbanj’s anniversary dinner, Funke recounted how God used him to speak to her to keep her popular Jenifa brand. The award-winning actress revealed that the singer was the one who encouraged her to keep the Jenifa brand on fire and had supported her financially to carry out her next project.

The box office Queen had also slammed her trolls while discussing her survival in the movie industry. She spoke about being an underdog in the industry and how she keeps pushing the boundaries in Nigerian cinema.
