“Many girls are desperate to act in Nollywood” – Kanayo Kanayo reveals, speaks on homosexuality in the industry (Video)
Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo Kanayo has slammed Nigerian ladies who are desperate to enter into Nollywood.
In a teaser for his upcoming interview with The Honest Bunch podcast, Kanayo revealed that a lot of girls are desperate to act in Nollywood and most of them don’t have acting skills. He stated that one doesn’t come to Nollywood to learn how to act, but to showcase their talent. He told them that if acting isn’t in them, they should sell crayfish.
Speaking on homosexuality in the industry, he admitted that there are lots of gay men in the industry and claim that most artistes are on drugs.
“Many girls are desperate to act, you don’t come to Nollywood to learn how to act. Acting is in you, if it isn’t in you go and sell crayfish.
Are you aware that most artistes are on drugs.
Men sleeping with me happens in the industry”.
One Houston Marron wrote, “What’s shocking about gay people in the film industry? Aren’t they human beings that exist just like straight people. You sound so dùmb sir
One Tina De Fidelle1 wrote, “Kunle Remi said the same things and they denied him a AMVCA award. I’m just glad that it’s coming from someone they can’t take anything from
One Official Sugar wrote, “Entertainment industry is just a dark place
One Odevivi wrote, “Shebi Kunle Remi said this thing on this same podcast lmao”.
Recall that Kunle Remi made similar statement last year, which robbed him off an AMVCA award. He had shared his encounter with an influential gay entertainer in the industry, who almost convinced him to have sexual intercourse with him, so he could make it in the industry.
Months back, Kanayo Kanayo had blown hot over the state of things in the industry. The veteran stated that Nollywood shouldn’t be a ground for Brazilian Butt Life (BBL), sex workers, Instagram stars, and homosexuality. The veteran further called out social media influencers, who are now taking over Nollywood, for being the biggest cause of disrespect in the industry.
During the weekend, Kanayo had issued a warning to Nollywood movie producers over fast-rising actress, Angel Unigwe. He called out the actress’ mother for allegedly holding movie producers to random, as he shared his bitter ordeal with the actress’ mother. The veteran vowed disrupt any location that features the actress in their movie.
