A Twitter user had shared a video of him performing at the event as he lamented over what he has become. He stated that this is always the outcome when one leaves his or her record label because labels play a major role in an artist’s career.

“See what Ex Ybnl Signee, Lyta has become

This is what happens when you Think you can do what your record Label does for you all alone.

Record Labels Play a major role in artists’s careers, They Push, They Fund, they do everything for the artiste … That’s why once an artiste leaves a label, It’s always so hard for the artiste to stay relevant because no proper funding and push anymore”.
