Watch the emotional moment Davido cries as his father-in-law prays for him and Chioma

Davido cries as his father-in-law prays for him and Chioma.

During most Nigerians, weddings, the parents of the couple prays for them, as a way of giving them their blessing, and in Davido and Chioma’s case, it was the bride’s father.

In the clip attached, you can see Davido and Chioma kneeling down in front of her father, while he holds a microphone and prays for them.

During his prayer, Chioma’s father mentioned how the couple has fought many battles but they’ve still persevered against all odds.

At the end of the clip, you can see Davido weeping emotional, and at some point, his father in-law hugged him lovingly, while consoling him.

Standing behind Davido was his best man and friend Lati, who could be seen placing the singer’s cap back on his head, while Chioma wiped the remaining tears from his face.

Davido has been very emotional during his wedding, and Kemi Filani earlier reported how he cried profusely at some point during the wedding, and his groomsmen cheered him up.

Spinning back to the statement Chioma’s father made about the couple fighting many battles, there’s no way to actually pinpoint the struggle he was referring to because they were many.

From cheating allegations, down to having another son from a London makeup artist while with Chioma, the struggles of this couple has been real and very public.

A good number of women have come out, claiming that they dated Davido without knowing that he was with Chioma.

The latest cheating drama involving Davido’s name came from a leaked video from one of his alleged ex-girlfriends, where he could be seen kneeling down and pleading with a certain person, and asking for forgiveness.

Davido never addressed the issue, and it took a while to die down, as it became a popular meme. Wizkid also used the video to troll Davido, which led to one of their many fallouts.

As many as their issues were, Davido and Chioma have waxed strong, and here they are, traditionally sealed and married.
