Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has penned a heartfelt note to his senior colleague, Dele Odule for intervening in his ongoing issue with AFRIMEK.

Kemi Filani reported two days back that The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK), led by Femi Adebayo, had suspended Johnson indefinitely for gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.

Reacting to the news on Sunday, Johnson expressed sadness that his honourable club made such a derogatory post about him. He stated that though he wasn’t bigger than the club, there had been Adeniyi Johnson before the club and the post they made about him could cause harm. He noted how such a post was detrimental to his name, his family and most importantly, his brand.

In his comment section, Joseph Momodu, Alesh Sanni, Bimpe Akintunde, and Bakare Zainab showed support for him as well as his fans.

Now taking to his Instagram page, Johnson appreciated Dele Odule as he praised him for being a father, teacher, mentor, listener and leader.

“Father
Teacher
Mentor
Listener and
A leader…. God bless you sir … @deleodule_”.

Last year, AFRIMEK suspended Shoneye Olamilekan otherwise known as Papa Showw for physically assaulting his colleague, Temidayo Morkinyo. The club, in a letter signed by the Mayor, Femi Adebayo, distanced itself from the actor, stating that his actions do not represent the identity for which their club stands for and has been known to present. His shameful act had left the association sanctioning him and placing him on immediate suspension.

The actor in an interview with Biola Bayo, later tendered a heartfelt apology to her and promised never to repeat such.
