Do2dtun mourns Sisi Quadri and Jide Kosoko

Media personality, Dotun otherwise known as Do2dtun has paid respect to late actors, Sisi Quadri and Mr Ibu, who died over the weekend.

Taking to his Instagram page, he described the day as an extremely and undeniably awkward day. He stated that the day is something to be remembered as two great actors who still had a lot to offer passed away.

He noted how they were exceptional, and irresponsible characters. According to him, one can’t see a better Sisi or Mr Ibu, and it is hard to replicate them or see their type again.

Expressing sadness over their demise, he stated that though it is over for the actors, their legacy lives on.

“Today is just an extremely and undeniably awkward day. It’s a day to remember. Two greats that still had a lot to offer. They were exceptional; irreplaceable characters. You can’t see a better Sisi or Mr Ibu. Hard to replicate… Hard to see their type again.
Very Sad”.

Do2dtun mourns Sisi Quadri and Jide Kosoko

Kemi Filani reported on Friday that Sisi Quadri’s untimely demise was announced by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf on Instagram.

Reports made rounds that the actor passed away when he was rushed to the hospital in his hometown in Iwo, Osun State, after suffering persistent hiccups which were caused by kidney-related issues.

A viral video of the actor complaining about his health before his untimely death made rounds online, which left many calling for investigation over his death.

Following the news of his demise, his colleagues who had been left shaken by the news took to their respective Instagram pages to mourn him.

On Saturday, according to Islamic rites, Sisi Quadri was laid to rest in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State.

As Sisi Quadri was been laid to rest, Veteran actor, Mr Ibu gave up the ghost at Evercare Hospital. The actor who has been battling for his life for months, had kicked the bucket following a cardiac arrest.

His death has thrown the industry into mourning as he was the beloved of many and had made our childhood memorable. The likes of Nkem Owoh-Osuofia, Patience Ozokwo, Destiny Etiko, Mike Ezurounye, Chizzy Alichi, Zubby Michael, Helen Paul, Uche Elendu, and others have taken to their Instagram pages to mourn him.
