“Why don’t we just love them for what they created, not mistakes or decisions they made?” – Do2dtun weighs in on Psquare’s fallout

Do2dtun weighs in on Psquare's fallout

Nigerian on-air personality Do2dtun has weighed in on famous twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, known as Psquare’s fallout.

It is no longer news that the famous twins have fallen out again. Addressing the fallout in an open letter to his twin, Peter told him he was not in any competition with him or anybody else. He stated that seeing him grant several interviews where he constantly discredits his efforts in the group they both created and built speaks volumes.

The father of two noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude Okoye, to marginalise and humiliate him. He further claimed that his twin brother has constantly disrespected him, his wife, his family, his talent, his ideas and more.

Taking to his Instagram page, Do2dtun stated that sometimes the reason why issues never get solved is because of the fear of disappointing the people who bought your fight when you were upset or grieving. He noted how fighting isn’t just the two people but the external forces involved, especially if it’s family.

He stated that a fight that can’t be resolved is a fight one can’t make up mind to fix. He avowed that the reason why a fight lasts longer is often because one party doesn’t have a mind of their own. Do2dtun added that one could love and wish two people to be together but should also live with them when they don’t want to be together or make mistakes, as life is not conditional.

To round up his message, he made it known that one can’t comfort the afflicted without afflicting the comfortable. He noted how no family is what it seems from the outside as he questioned why people couldn’t just love them for what they created and not the mistakes or decisions they made.

“Sometimes the reason why issues never get solved is cos of the fear of disappointing the people who bought your fight when you were upset or grieving. Fighting is not just the two people but the external forces involved. Especially if the external force is the family.

A fight that can never be resolved is a fight you can’t make up your mind to fix, damn the consequences and cut away the people that contributed to it. The reason why a fight lasts longer is most times, one party doesn’t have a mind of their own.

You can love and wish two people to be together, but you also have to love them with the same energy when don’t want to be together or when they make mistakes. Love is not conditional”.

“YOU CAN’T COMFORT THE AFFLICTED WITHOUT AFFLICTING
THE COMFORTABLE.

No family is what it seems from the outside. Yours is not perfect either, but we feel we need accountability when it’s people we love, but at the end, why don’t we love them for what they created, not mistakes or decisions they made?”.
