Portable repairs road in Sango

Fans of controversial Nigerian singer Portable have praised him as he repairs the road in Sango-Ota.

The street singer, via his Instagram page, shared a video of him bringing a tractor to the state to repair the bad roads as he revealed that he plans to buy a new car and, as such, needed to fix the road. Calling the car a presidential motor, Portable noted how the road in Nigeria is too bad and would spoil his new car, which would be hard to repair since it is imported.

Portable said that it is because he has money, and that’s why he is repairing the road, as he noted how he had done much in the past, especially when he bought his G-Wagon, but had to stop for undisclosed reasons.

“Presidential motor. I have graded the road. My American motor mustn’t spoil because its mechanic isn’t available in Nigeria. If it spoils, who will repair it? It is a bad thing for Nigerian roads to spoil American motors. That’s why I have graded the road; I and others are doing it.

It’s because I have money; that’s why I can repair the road. Although I used to repair the roads, I stopped. When I bought my G-wagon, I stopped. Now, I want to buy a presidential motor, and I have to repair the road”.

In his comment section, many of his fans praised him as they noted how it isn’t a small feat, while others questioned if he got permission from the government.

Some weeks back, Portable had called out Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, after a bad road in Sango-Ota nearly claimed his life while driving his Range Rover as it fell inside a ditch. The controversial singer, who isn’t afraid of anyone, had told the governor to vacate his seat if he can’t fix all the bad roads, stressing that Yayi is a better candidate to replace him.

He later claimed he received N2 million as compensation for calling out the governor and revealed that the Governor had promised he would fix all the bad roads in the state.

To confirm the governor’s promise, Portable visited the Atan-Lusada-Agabara road project, where he gave kudos to the government.
