Mother of Portable’s new signee storms Lagos to confront him for impregnating a lady in Ibadan and absconding (Video)
The mother of controversial singer Portable’s new signee, Wizzy Nurudeeni, has stormed Lagos to confront him for impregnating a lady and absconding.
In the video making rounds on Twitter, the teens’ mother revealed that her son had impregnated a lady in Ibadan and ran away to Lagos to work for Portable. Though, bearing no grudge with Portable, she appreciated the singer for caring for her son and investing in his talent.
Portable who wasn’t aware of Wizzy’s shameful dead, queried him over his mother’s confrontation and he admitted that he has a family in his hometown, who he abandoned to make ends meet.

This isn’t the first time Portable’s record label has been embroiled in such. In December, last year, Abuga, one of Portable’s artists, found himself in the middle of a controversy after a woman who claimed to be his baby mama released a heart-wrenching video on social media. In the video, she pleaded with the public to help her reach out to Abuga, who she accused of neglecting his paternal duties, abandoning them and not fulfilling his promise of marrying her.
Over the last months, Portable has signed several street singers since gaining fame; unfortunately, most of the relationships turn sour and end in social media beefs.
Recall that Portable and Young Duu had gone their separate ways in December 2023. It all started when Portable came online to repeatedly slam Young Duu for not giving him bountiful returns after investing in him. He had also laid a curse on Young Duu, expressing that he had bad luck that followed him.
Portable also accused Young Duu of trying to bring disintegration in his record label Zeh Nation. Reacting to all of this, Young Duu had taken to leaving the record label, even returning the car that Portable had gifted him. Since their separation, they’ve both been shading each other.
Before Young Duu, Portable had a signee, Manny Monnie, who he accused of being ungrateful, as he disclosed that the signee tried to double-cross him by employing two music distributors without his knowledge. Portable, who claimed he promoted and sponsored the signee, also accused him of being a sc@mmer.
Explaining his side of what transpired, Manny Monnie said he didn’t do anything to the singer. Things escalated between the two as Manny Monnie ordered his arrest after he allegedly threatened his life and instigated violence against him.
