Nollywood stars, Rita Dominic and Omoni Oboli are sending love and light to Nigerian comedian Dami Olakunle, better known as African Ace, and his wife following the loss of their pre-term baby.

In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, the comedian revealed that he had lost his son who came out earlier than expected. He noted how his son was doing pretty well for a 26-weeker, but their joy was cut short as on July 28th, they got a call that he had gotten a bacterial infection, and from there, it was one thing after another.

Despite the words of the doctors, they were hopeful and optimistic that he would pull through, especially considering how long and hard he kept fighting. Still, God decided to call him home during the early hours of August 1st with his parents by his side. The comedian stated that he had never experienced such pain before as he noted how they quickly went from plans for him coming home to now talking to funeral homes.

Taking to his comment section, Rita Dominic, Omoni Oboli, Ali Baba’s wife and more sent condolence messages.

Similarly, last year, Debbie Shokoya, in an emotional video, tearfully recounted how she lost her pregnancy at eight months. Begging people not to bash her, she noted how she sacrificed and went through a lot for her unborn child, only for her to lose the pregnancy.

In tears, she stated that it hadn’t been easy for her as she bonded with her child so well before the loss.

Also, Toyin Abraham opened up on her pregnancy loss, which left her in pains because she wanted to have one or two kids and be done. She also spoke about how she was body-shamed after getting bloated from the loss.
