Gov Fubara vows to probe Wike’s administration

Rivers state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has vowed to probe all that happened within the state government in the last eight years.

Fubara disclosed this while swearing in Dagogo Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, as the new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State.

Fubara has charged Iboroma to quickly set up panel of enquiry to look into the activities of the state government in the last 8 years.

This comes as the Chief of Staff to Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara, Edison Ehie, has disclosed that he was offered money to impeach the governor.

Ehie, however, disclosed that he refused to collect the money he was offered to impeach Fubara.

The Chief of Staff who did not disclose the identities of those who offered him money, spoke in Ahoada East area of Rivers State over the weekend.

According to Ehie: “They invited me, your son, to impeach the governor and I told them clearly, I was not interested.

“They gave me all the money that was hidden before, which I rejected. And because I refused, they conspired and declared me wanted.”
