Nigeria vs Benin Republic: Starting XIs for 2025 AFCON qualifier

Nigeria will line up in a 3-4-3 formation for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Benin Republic on Saturday.

The Super Eagles will be handled by interim boss, Augustine Eguavoen.

Eguavoen has picked Chippa United goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, between the sticks.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey will feature as centre-backs.

Nottingham Forest star, Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi will play as the two wing-backs.

Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will operate from the midfield.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface will lead the attack and will be supported by Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze.
