Transfer: As long as I’m winning trophies – Boniface speaks on move to EPL

Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, has claimed he is not so keen to play in the Premier League.

According to Boniface, he is happy to continue playing in the Bundesliga, as long as he is winning trophies.

The Super Eagles forward stated this while answering questions on the Curiosity Made Me Ask show.

The 23-year-old scored 14 goals and provided nine assists across 23 games as Xabi Alonso’s men won the league title with an unbeaten record.

Leverkusen also won the DFB Pokal, and lost the final of the UEFA Europa League to Atalanta.

Boniface’s form has seen him being linked with clubs in the Premier League.

But he said: “No, I’m fine with the Bundesliga.

“As long as I’m winning the trophies there, I have no problem.”
