Transfer: Chelsea make loan offer for Sancho

Chelsea made an offer for Manchester United forward, Jadon Sancho, on transfer dealdine day.

Sky Sports News reports that it is for a loan that could become an obligation if certain thresholds are met.

The loan fee is thought to be more than what Juventus offered.

Talks are continuing between the clubs ahead of the 11pm deadline.

Juventus had previously been leading the race to sign the England international.

However, the Serie A side pulled out of a potential deal.

Sancho spent last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund following his call-out with manager Erik ten Hag.

He did not featured in Man United’s two Premier League games against Fulham and Brighton.
