Transfer: Nottingham Forest set to sell Awoniyi

Nottingham Forest are ready to listen to offers for Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, this summer.

During his time in the Premier League, Awoniyi has established himself as one of leading marksman.

The 26-year-old was Forest’s top scorer in his first maiden campaign at the club.

The striker also started last season on an impressive note before he was hampered by a groin injury.

Awoniyi retuned to action around February but was later sidelined by another injury.

According to the Daily Mail, Forest will consider a move for their former forward Ben Brereton-Diaz, currently contracted to Villarreal, if they sell the Nigerian.

The former Union Berlin star currently has three years remaining on his contract.
